1.61 London carried out a full redevelopment of this existing apartment to create a showcase of the best products from around the world and to demonstrate their excellent attention to detail. All works from design to project management were carried out by 1.61 London to exemplify the company's flair.

Special Project Features

Onyx panels – It was decided that Onyx panels were to be one of the main features within this property and by back-lighting these panels, the form and texture of this beautiful material could be highlighted. Perfect dimming was critical in achieving the exact amount of light to create a soft and calming glow.

Particular Challenges

The main brief was to maximise usable space without compromising design. This created the particular challenge of opening up the rooms to be open-plan, whilst adhering to building control and regulation requirements. As always, this had to be done within budget and time constraints.

Products Used

Fully wired Rako system controlling all lighting and blinds in every room. Rako was chosen because of its dependability and functionality at a price that could not be matched by competitors.
