Project Background
The property is located in the centre of the city's major cultural hub, located on Church Street in the CBD area, the property occupies an impressive 75,000sqft area of prime residence, comprising of a basement, ground floor and four terrace areas. The project is categorised as one of the most sought after residences with state-of-the-art architecture and design!
Particular Challenges
Since this was a large scale project with multiple rooms, it was important to create a smart home that would live up to the client's expectations, whilst keeping in mind the after sales support required to maintain such a large property. Hence the implementation of Rako with its user friendly interface provided for the client and the ability to enhance each of the spaces through smart lighting control.
Favourite Product Features
The wall mount keypads are designed with bespoke metal faceplates with the client choosing to have custom text engraving using Rako's plate designer tool. The keypads are fully independent from the home automation control system and home Wifi network, this means the Rako lighting control system operates on its own RF communication network to ensure seamless control even if the automation control system is down or removed for any reason.
