Project Background

Designed by Givanni Associates, this Art Deco inspired venue is situated in the heart of Canary Wharf.  Deemed as an ‘urban escape’ from the hustle and bustle of its surrounding area, Oasis Bar & Terrace treats its visitors to a tranquil yet vibrant atmosphere.  Darklight Design were tasked to design, supply and facilitate the installation of a flexible lighting scheme that complemented the al fresco setting.

Following a recommendation from AV supplier Art of Integration, Darklight Design started the design process just 12 weeks before the site's planned opening date!  With a serene, botanical aesthetic in mind, Darklight Design devised a lighting scheme that beautifully enhanced the abundant indoor greenery.

Using smart lighting controls by Rako, Darklight Design installed a DALI dimming system that allowed for total flexibility in controlling the venue's lighting - whether by preset scenes, entire groups of lighting or individual circuits.
