Project Background
Tobias Oliver Interiors have expanded their interior design service offering by opening a stunning showroom and shop on Berkhamsted High Street. The building has been entirely converted from an old solicitors’ offices and therefore was in need of a completely new lighting control system.
The showroom has been designed so that it represents a luxurious apartment which demonstrates the teams interior design skills, with a particular focus on high-quality finishing. Every room has been fitted with Rako controlled lighting which is especially important for creating the right ambience for the showroom.
Project Specification
There are stunning chandeliers and exquisite table lamps in the living room and dining areas which are set to have different lighting intensities throughout the day. LED strip lighting throughout all cabinetry and pendant lights over the bar area all add to the relaxed and comfortable feel. The lighting design was continued throughout the hallway area and upstairs into the show kitchen, design studio and library.
Special Project Features
Tobias Oliver Interiors host a number of events at the showroom to present new ranges of interior products, again the lighting here is of the utmost importance. It is particularly useful during these events to have the Rako system app for the team to be able to adjust the lighting throughout an event, at the touch of a button from a smartphone.
