Boudica, a high-end restaurant situated in the bustling heart of Battersea, stands out with its chic and modern style. The restaurant’s interior designer created 3D renders to depict the desired aesthetic but needed expert assistance to bring these visuals to fruition. Lighting of London was enlisted to develop and execute a lighting design that would elevate the restaurant's ambience and overall experience. Collaborating closely with the onsite team, Lighting of London successfully transformed the space through strategic lighting solutions.

Key Challenges and Solutions:

• Linear LED Implementation: Requirement: The project necessitated high output, high CRI, and spotless LED strips for integration on ceilings and walls.
• Solution: Lighting of London installed high-performance linear LED strips that met these stringent specifications, ensuring a flawless and seamless finish.
• Colour Temperature: Requirement: Achieving an intimate ambience required selecting the perfect colour temperature.
• Solution: LEDs with a 2700K colour temperature were chosen, producing a warm and inviting glow that matched the desired atmosphere.
• Spotlight Precision: Requirement: Specific points of interest needed to be targeted to enhance the restaurant's visual appeal.
• Solution: Wall-mounted Follow Me Spotlights were utilised to highlight foliage and other focal points, adding depth and visual interest.
• Control System: Requirement: A flexible and comprehensive lighting control system was essential.
• Solution: The Rako lighting control system was integrated, enabling complete control over lighting zones and moods through the Rako app. This system allowed staff to seamlessly adjust the lighting to suit different times of day and events.

The final result was a transformed space that exuded intimacy, warmth and modern sophistication. The lighting design complemented Boudica’s chic style, enhancing the dining experience and ambience.
